Opt4College

More and more youth with disabilities and special health care needs are entering and graduating from college. However, many teens still do not see college in their future. Opening Doors will help graduating high school students plan for college and career.

Project Adventure

Finding a supportive inclusive environment for recreation can be difficult for children and youth with disabilities and special health care needs. Trained community volunteers will help children have fun and get fit at local recreational facilities.

Location: Eastern Massachusetts
Age range: 8 to 15

Project Solutions

Children from diverse backgrounds do not always get their needs recognized early. Opening Doors will reach Latino children and families at the Martha Eliot Health Center using an improved screening tool.
